Simon Polling
Simon Polling is a veteran sleepwalker, writer, screenwriter, and author of the new novel Putin Rendition 2022.1 under the Pen Name Cymonev Polinksnia.
With almost two decades in the Navy, Simon had a lot of time alone to read and write; mainly within the military and science fiction genres. Developing on his sleepwalking, he found a niche in the Quantum Fiction world with his series The Leader Files. Simon now a Paramedic, has a passion for helping veterans suffering PTSD. He has also recently completed a screenplay pilot titled Broken Arrow, Heart of Darkness for the UK BBC. This Pilot is hoped to assist veterans seek help for issues they encounter as a result of their operational careers. Simon once discovered the meaning of life. It is told that he celebrated his finding prior to writing it down. He now carries a pad and pen and delays his celebrations.
Simon has also written under the name of Cymonev Polinksnia, for an episode of his Broken Arrow series that featured the 2022 war in Ukraine, titled Putin Rendition 2022.1

A different mindset.

I bought this book purely on a friend’s recommendation and I had no idea what it was about. Well am I glad that I did.
The story follows Phil Leader, a man who can “astral project” in his dreams and take a real shape in another place. This skill is obviously very valuable and of course there is someone to try and cash in on it.
A thriller with some good twists along the way. Excellent!

Original Storyline, Should be a Movie.
The building intensity of the ‘delta’ situation, the learning and the environment that is created was a compelling read. I see that there will be more to this story. Looking forward to continuing the reading experience A+++

A real page turner.
This debut novel from Simon Polling is a real page turner. The characters draw you in and leave you wanting more. I found this book extremely difficult to put down and eagerly await the next in this series.

What a great first novel. I was griped from the start and am looking forward to the sequel. A thriller but also Sci Fi, it explores the potential of the human brain to perform beyond our normal capabilities. Topical too with the current space programmes to visit Mars and the Moon as its theme. A real page turner.
